| This instrument is used for 3-dimensional
observations of solar vector magnetic field and radial velocity
in real time. There are four tube assemblies on one mounting.
The main tube Assembly is a 60cm vacuum Gregorian with an
F/2.5 primary mirror, 5' X 4' field of view and a novel nine-channel
birefringent filter with a working wavelength range of 3968A
to 6563A. The 35cm tube is a Solar Magnetic Field Telescope,
and other two optical tube assemblies are equipped with a
H-alpha and tunable Lyot filter respectively for full disk
observation. |
